Public transportation is another great way to cut down on your overall energy use.

Thursday, June 19th is the third annual national Dump the Pump Day. Check out how you can use public transportation in your city. For Richmonders - check out http://www.ridegrtc.com.

Companies in downtown should start transporting their employees in company buses from Park & Rides too. This will save lot of their time & GAS to go directly to work.

Downtown businesses, including Dominion, should join together and work with GRTC to establish express bus routes from every direction to downtown. This could greatly reduce gasoline usage for morning and afternoon commutes (6:30--9:00 a.m. and 4:00--5:45 p.m.)

GRTC does have a few express routes with stops at 7th and Main Streets.

Let us rent solar panels from dominion power to use for electric evergy rather than buying our own or getting energy from the regular source.
