Dominion's new plug-in electric hybrid vehicles, now being tested in Northern Virginia.
Interest is growing rapidly in hybrid vehicles and electric cars. At Dominion we recently purchased two plug-in hybrid cars and two specially equipped, hybrid bucket trucks to begin testing various aspects of these green technologies, including measuring the impact they could ultimately have on the electric grid. There's a
story about it in yesterday's Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Let us know what you think or if you see one of them driving around!

I think that the company is moving in the correct direction by using more electric vehicles. Once the initial usage is completed it would be good to see it go to a fleet wide usage. There could be an employee incentive for electric car usage by providing recharging ports for all employees driving electric vehicles to work.
About three years ago I decided to build my own home instead of hiring the expensive contractors. It was actually quite easy, even with my limited knowledge of construction. I am just thankful that I had the bucket truck handy because my pick up couldn’t cut it.
Great post. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!!
