Kids Making a Difference

The other week I learned about this great group called Roots and Shoots. It's a kid-focused organization founded by Jane Goodall. Kids can get involved by forming their own community group. There is one group called Sprouts of Hope located in Cambridge, Massachusetts that recently contacted us to let us know what they were up to.

The Sprouts of Hope are involved with quite a few environmental issues in their school and community. This year they will be returning to the Cambridge Science Festival on April 25th. They will be asking attendees to sign pledge cards, pledging to be energy efficient. Check out the Sprouts of Hope blog to learn more about their activities and what they're doing in their community.
