Do CFLs Work In Dimmer Switches?

This is a great question and one we get a lot. The short answer is yes.

But, before buying check the product labeling. The product packaging will say if it works in a dimmer switch. Dimming a CFL that is not labeled to work with a dimmer switch will significantly shorten its life.
