Great tips! I virtually never use air conditioning because an open window and a fan are so much more energy efficient. Unfortunately, as someone who is really into home decor, I've found that most of the fans out there are very aesthetically unpleasing. I have found that Fanimation has really beautiful and creative ceiling and desk fans, and many of their fans are Energy Star rated.
Bob, Great video on how to reduce your summer cooling bills. I particularly liked your comments about the thermostat. I wanted to share some information for your customers who own vacation homes in your area. If they are having problems with tenants keeping the thermostats at 78 degrees. They should check out our line of tamper proof thermostats. ControlTemp Thermostats Our thermostats can prevent tenats or guests from setting the thermostat below 75 or 78 degrees.
Thanks for the energy saving tips. We all need to save some money, and we all need to do our part to conserve energy! I'll be passing along your video. Great stuff!
These are wonderful thoughts here...energy saving and getting closer to the earth with eco friendly procedures.
The tips are indeed informative Bob. Thank you for explaining to us expertly how we could prepare our homes for the hot summer.
If it helps anyone, I would just like to share this link www.chooseenergy.com/education-center-dallas-electricity-providers.aspx also of a business electric service provider I know which also gives tips on how we could use effectively our electric energy on the summer while being environmental-friendly as well. This is indeed a good one coming from a business sector.
I was amazed at the programmable thermostat. I would gladly avail of one
